Planning on a trip of hiking section 10 of the trail, curious of this section, can anyone provide more information of what's in the guide. Water sources (other than the ford @ east armuchee creek), campsites, difficulties, etc.

Here is a map of this section:

Notice at the bottom of the map is Pocket Recreation Area. It has campsites available, bathroom / shower. Please check with Forest Service. It might not be open for the season yet.

That's a much better map that what is on this site... I have a topo map of the area, but nothing on my map has been marked *yet*, which I plan on doing on my trip...
We're taking along some *slow walkers*, so we're going to to do that trek in a 2 day stretch, so camping at the pocket is not really an option, but thanks for the advice... And you are correct, I do not think it is open currently...
